We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative IT Business Analyst to help optimize, integrate, and maximize the value of enterprise technology systems across the organization. This role serves as a key bridge between business stakeholders and IT, with a strong focus on construction workflows and enterprise platforms.

You will act as a product owner for critical systems, guiding solutions through their full lifecycle- from discovery and design through deployment, training, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

 

Requirements, Workflow & Product Ownership

  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
  • Map current-state and future-state workflows across enterprise applications
  • Translate requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
  • Maintain a prioritized product backlog and roadmap based on business value, risk, and readiness
  • Serve as product owner for enterprise platforms, managing the full lifecycle from discovery through deprecation

Release, Integration & Change Management

  • Plan and manage cross-platform releases and system integrations
  • Coordinate dependencies, change windows, versioning, release notes, and change logs
  • Lead test planning and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Manage defect triage and resolution
  • Deliver role-based training, documentation, and communications for each release

Documentation, Governance & Communication

  • Create and maintain lifecycle artifacts including vision documents, functional specs, process documentation, release notes, and change logs
  • Develop and manage project charters, schedules, and logs
  • Track scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks across initiatives
  • Communicate status and impacts clearly to stakeholders at all levels

Continuous Improvement & Platform Expertise

  • Act as subject matter expert for enterprise platforms
  • Support upgrades, integrations, feature rollouts, and new implementations
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and feed lessons learned back into standards and backlogs
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and data integrity standards

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain a quarterly enterprise software roadmap and facilitate cross-platform release planning
  • Support process automation initiatives using Microsoft Power Apps and related technologies
  • Liaise with software vendors and external partners for system support and enhancements
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for technology projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong business process analysis skills, particularly in construction workflows (estimating, project management, document control, accounting)
  • Proven ability to gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements
  • Experience creating functional specifications, user stories, process documentation, and training materials
  • Data analysis and reporting skills using tools such as Power BI and Excel
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies
  • Understanding of IT governance, data integrity, and security best practices
  • Experience working with software vendors and external partners
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, and reporting tools

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in the construction industry
  • Hands-on experience with construction ERP, document management, and project management systems
  • Experience with enterprise platforms, including Vista by Viewpoint, Hyland OnBase, iTwo by RIB, Autodesk ACC Build & Cost, DocuSign, TradeTapp, Microsoft SharePoint, Power Apps, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, Cloudspec by RIB, JOIN, AIA Docs, and Oracle P6 EPPM

 

Working Conditions

This role is primarily office-based with occasional visits to construction sites. Candidates must be able to work at a computer for extended periods and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Occasional travel may be required for project meetings or training.
